The so-called mechanic they had working on my boat was clearly unqualified (I’d bet he has no certifications whatsoever). They claimed the boat was “running” and said they had a video to prove it — I never received that video. Instead, I was given a laundry list of “recommended” repairs that had nothing to do with my original concern. When I asked a simple question — what was wrong and did you fix it? — their answer was basically, we don’t know, but you should still do all these things. I asked them to stop working on my boat. When I went to pick it up during business hours, they made me wait over an hour and still refused to release it with bogus excuses. I returned the next day only to find the same unqualified mechanic tinkering with the motor again — despite my explicit request. This is not even a proper boat repair shop. They’re operating out of a tiny corner of a warehouse, and it shows. The customer service is just as bad as the workmanship — completely unprofessional, full of runarounds, and zero accountability. In fact, one of them even admitted their mistakes by saying I shouldn’t pay them a dime. If you value your boat, your time, and your money, stay far away from this place.

I hired sail onyx to preform a correction after a previous company had created a short in my panels, we didn’t have an ac, generator and my sea keeper was shutting off. It took two weeks to correct the damage created by the other company. I wish I knew onyx earlier, I would save time, money and a lot of energy.
