Went to Sala de Despecho with a girlfriend and we had sooo much fun! We sang our hearts out and danced all night. The place isn’t very big, so it does get crowded, and the singing really doesn’t get going until around 8:30 — so definitely make a reservation ahead of time. Half the restaurant is open-air, so even with “AC” it gets hot. The food was nothing to write home about (I’d skip it), and drinks are on the pricier side (but hey, it’s Wynwood). Also keep in mind there’s a $75 per person consumption minimum. Overall though, it’s a super fun spot to do something different every once in a while!

Perfect spot for a girls’ night out! Just be ready for a hostess with some serious attitude and staff that practically push you through to get by. I know it’s busy, but a friendly ‘excuse me’ would go a long way in improving the experience.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. After spending nearly an hour finding parking, I arrived with an 85-year-old woman who cannot walk well. When I asked the security guard if we could take a quick look inside before bringing her in, he refused and told us to go sit on the sidewalk. The two hostesses were also unhelpful and impolite, speaking only in Spanish and showing no manners. Not once did anyone offer a chair or assistance to the elderly woman. The lack of basic courtesy and hospitality was shocking. We felt completely unwelcome and had no choice but to leave. N no one had said Hello welcome. Where do they hire these people. Fire the security

The hostesses need to work on their customer service, not very approachable. Aside from that this place is so much fun, and the Tacos Atarantados are delicious. Best tacos in Miami without a doubt.

First time at Sala De Despecho Wynwood and we had a great time. The atmosphere is great, a lot of dancing, good music and food. This concept of “Karaoke” with simulating microphones for everyone makes it so cool to sing along with the artists on the TVs and everyone else, and of course avoiding garbled singing. The service was really good, very attentive all the time. You must make a reservation; it gets crowded.
