Eric is a fantastic instructor. He has years of experience, a wealth of knowledge, and a good sense of humor. I had such a good experience taking one private lesson with him that I immediately purchased a 10-session pack. If you are in Boulder and have been thinking about starting your salsa dance journey, Eric is the man to see.

I finally decided to take salsa lessons after putting it off for years! I’m so glad I did it. Having a blast! Eric and the team at Salsaville dance studio are incredible! To begin, they all know how to dance, but more importantly, they know how to teach and make the experience fun! I don’t think I’ve ever smiled so much! I look forward to both my private lessons with Eric and the group lessons with Yolanda every week. I highly recommend this dance program! I’ve only been taking lessons for one month and already feel comfortable going out socially and dancing. Thank you, Eric and Yolanda!!

I love the classes at Salsaville! I plan on coming back over and over so that Salsa dance is a continuous part of my life. The classes are fun, good exercise and the teachers and students are such nice and friendly people. I appreciate how Marcella and Howard are always happy to give individual help and attention. I love how you can come without a partner and if the male/female ratio is uneven then advanced students will come in to even out the numbers. I also like how you trade partners every 5 minutes or so to get varied experience. Guaranteed you will learn some new favorite music to dance to as well!

I have so appreciated Eric’s teaching style, having taken multiple styles of salsa classes with him and having taken private lessons, as well. He creates a lively, fun, community-oriented environment and helps to break difficult concepts down into more digestible pieces that make sense, careful not to overwhelm students. He is skilled at meeting each student where they are in their learning and development as dancers, and brings a spirit of play to the whole class experience. His many years of study not only make him a wonderful dance teacher (and lead to dance with!), but also a supportive ambassador for various cultures and styles of dance and music.

Had an incredible time over my four months of classes with Eric! His teaching style is easy to learn (especially for beginners or folks new to the social dance scene) and progresses at a great pace month to month. I don't think you'll find a better salsa instructor in the area!
