A great place to go get icecream after dinner or drinks at One Paseo! Their unique flavors never fail to surprise. Our go-to is the gooey brownie and the coffee loves nuts. The salted malted cookie dough is also quite well balanced and tasty. The texture of the ice cream is excellent - smooth with a bit of chew. Put it in a freshly made waffle cone or bowl for an extra punch. They let you try as many flavors as you want, so don’t be shy, be adventurous! You can do a split scoop if you don’t want two scoops but you want multiple flavors!

Love Salt & Straw! One of the best ice cream shops in San Diego! We ordered two double waffle cones. One with cinnamon snickerdoodle and birthday cakes and blackberries and the other with chocolate gooey brownie and salted, malted chocolate chip cookie dough. Love the flavors. Very friendly and helpful staff and the line always moves quickly. A lot of nice tables outside to sit at. Recommend!

Tough call if I prefer this location or the Little Italy one. This one is located at One Paseo in Del Mar and in the fall and winter it's the perfect place to enjoy amazing ice cream while sitting by the outdoor fire. The ice cream flights are a must, and definitely try the seasonal flavors that change every month. The flavors may sound a little weird, especially when they include real chunks of the main ingredients, but they really do perfectly blend salty and sweet.

Saw a picture on Instagram where this business advertised and awesome chocolate waffle cone with what looked like four scoops of ice cream. I went onlynto find they did not offer a chocolate waffle cone and the ice cream is too soft/melty to do more than two scoops! Flavors were a disappointment with only one chocolate option.
