This is a beautiful facility. We come annually for the genealogy conference that makes use of most of the space. The entire facility was very clean. There was good signage to locate different meeting rooms. The facility staff were friendly and efficient working in the background to maintain a smooth experience for all. It is in the heart of the city surrounded by hotels and reasonable parking. We had someone with us who used a power chair. She found the facility generally very accessible. The restrooms were a bit snug.

We were at Salt Palace for 2025 GJNC. I really like this venue as it’s next to the hotel and easy in and out. What’s also nice is their food services vendors. More food options as oppose to the traditional pizza, hot dogs and burgers.

Went for Hunting Expo 2025. Loved the experience. Most vendors were friendly and informative. We didn't feel pressured to commit to anything. Have also been here for a couple other conferences. The accommodations are plentiful for any event. I love how many restrooms and drinking fountains are available throughout the venue.

In July 2025, we visited the Salt Palace Convention Center in Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. We were attending the NACUFS 2025 National Convention. NACUFS stands for National Association of College & University Food Services. The Salt Palace has many windows and an abundance of natural sunlight. It is well-maintained, clean, and spacious. The Salt Palace will adequately host the 2025 NACUFS National Convention. The Salt Palace is a well-designed building and a valuable asset for Salt Lake City.

Hey folks, If you’re thinking of swinging by the Outdoor Retailer Show this year… Well, good news: you’ll have plenty of room to swing. Here’s the quick recap: • Day 1: You could hear your own heartbeat. • Day 2: Some humans showed up — we got excited and talked to anyone with a badge. • Day 3: I had a great conversation… with the exhibitor next to me (again). The upside? I got a lot of admin work done and made friends with the guy selling dehydrated yak milk. If you’re still coming: • Bring snacks. • Don’t expect lines. • Bonus: You’ll get a private tour of everyone’s booth. Let’s hope next year they give the buyers better GPS devices — I think most got lost on the way.
