Huge convention center right on the water but you would never know it because they have done little to bring the view and closeness of the Pacific Ocean in. Bathrooms are smallish and not placed in plain site. Staff was outstanding and did well to direct over 100,000 in attendance. Food? Don’t even touch it. Pass everything inside and although it’s work to get there, find your way over to the Gaslamp District and spend your hard earned dollar on real food. The Trolley is a great alternative to getting to the SDCC if you don’t stay local. If you have time go to a Padres Baseball game. Nice park and besides It’s the only professional sports team that San Diego still has and they are holding onto them.

I've attended Cisco Live here a few times and each time I remember how much easier it is to move around this convention center that it is at other locations where this event is held. If you are lucky enough to attend something that will have food server on the terrace or bay side lawn, then you are in for a treat. They hire people with owls, hawks and falcons to keep the seagulls away from the food. This year three wonderful ladies where present and loved talking about the birds they were holding.

Comic Com San Diego 7-26-25 Sat: Went for a walk down Embarcadero, to Hilton, by bridge, convention center Hall H, and Gaslamp for great people in costumes- it was fun in these crowds. Loved the giant pirate ship and characters on jet skis. Loved all the building giant posters and huge screens … and of course Hall H- I slept outside one night years back in Hall H line. Went a few times but lately now never made it past the waiting room online to get reservations. It was and is always exciting!!
