I took the kumiko class here taught by Michael, the class was excellent - we were just 6 people, the stock prep was done, tools were sharp, jigs were accurate. Michael had a chill energy and walked us throughout how to do it, why it's done that way, and how it's not as scary as it looks (just a lot of careful creeping up on the right fit, and finding centres!). The space was easy to find, staff are friendly, and the space is really beautiful with a cozy vibe. It helps that Liberty Station is right next door too! Excited to come back sometime for a completely different class!

This place is amazing to learn a new hobby or skill and do it with family or friends. Must come here! Me and my husband did a wood working shop where you build your own coffee table and it was amazing. I felt confident in being able to learn on all the wood shop tools including different routers, table saw, compound miter saw, jig saw and hand tools (sanders, drills, ect). The instructors and staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and amazing teachers. I loved the whole class and I will be coming back for other classes.

I’ve taken two classes here — mini wheel pottery and sourdough bread— and had the best times. I have darling pots and make the best and most successful sourdough bread with my own starter.

My sister And I so enjoyed our power carving class hosted by Cecilia Bencomo. We had been looking so forward to taking this class and learning the skills of power carving. We not only left Proud of our First creations, but can’t wait to continue perfecting our skills and enjoying this craft. Cecilia was a wealth of information and highly skilled. We look forward to learning more from her. Don’t hesitate to take any classes from her.
