This spot is the best of both worlds and I loved it! Live music and chill vibe on the inside but soon as you hit that back door, its a whole other party....they be turnt outside! The band was amazing and the drinks were good. Our cocktail waitress was very attentive. Out back is a DJ, hookah and good trucks. There is an age limit for patrons which is Women 25+ and men 30+ and I love this b/c it curate a crowd of my peers. I will definitely be back!

First time going to a Jazz lounge and it was exceptional! atmosphere was great! friendly people there, service was top tier! A little pricey but for what it’s worth you definitely get what you’re paying for. Being from south Louisiana I felt as like i was back. They played some louisiana hits that i’ve grown up listening to. It made me feel great ya know! Definitely will be back!

Terrible experience. Tickets for general admission were $20 (no complaint about price). I bought 2 tickets. After taxes & fees, I paid $46. My date and I arrived at 8:15PM. The music of 'Zo! and Tall Black Guy' band was supposed to start at 8PM like the poster stated. They did not start until 9:21PM. We also expected BBQ to be sold all evening, but just like the band, the cooks/butchers did not show up until 9-9:15. (The taste of the food was great though) My date and I ended up leaving at 9:45 since we both had work the next day (came on a Thursday). The bartenders were nice, but everything else gave us a poor experience. I understand things happen, but the band arriving an hour and 20 minutes past the expectation was disappointing. If you're going to charge for entry, the bare minimum is the band starting on time.

We did not eat at Sandaga. However the plates we saw looked delicious and portion sizes were nice. We came for the live band which was amazing. The cost was $20 each to get in. We had drinks and they were delicious! Bar service was quick. The tables require reservation. Ours was complementary, which was great. There was a patio for those that wanted to hang out outside with music. The dj kept the vibe going during the bands intermission. They need dance space. It was a bit cramped with the chairs and tables. Maybe something other than round table will give more space. They also had hookah available for those that wanted it. We enjoyed the night.
