As a very beginner sewer who has let their machine sit for a few years, of course I was doing everything wrong. They taught me so much about sewing and my machine in just the few minutes I was there AND weren’t even going to charge me for their time. My car broke down right at the driveway entrance to this place. I was a little hesitant to leave the car on the street so I asked a lady with silverish gray hair who works here if it would be ok to push it into the Santa Cruz Sew and Vac parking lot temporary cause I wanted to get it off the street cause ocean street is really busy and I was worried about leaving it on the street. I just wanted to park it there while I tried to get help explaining that I would be back soon (Same Day) to retrieve the car once I had help. Seemed like the lady didn't give it much thought before giving me a automatic NO! Where is peoples humanity these days? I was struggling with a unexpected situation trying to figure out what to do and had asked a simple favor and was greeted with a automatic no.

They also have a first class service center. We found great customer service with ladies that are experienced sewers. The parking is abundant and convenient!
