This is my most favorite thrift store, and I thrift a lot!! The Millcreek Savers is very well organized and very clean. Most of the staff have been here for years and have such a great attitude. I love the selection of books, games and clothing. I have found so many amazing finds here over the years. Most recently I found some great wool sweaters and a Patagonia fleece jacket and was able to use a 20% off coupon. Looking forward to my next trip!

I have supported and used your stores for years to clothe my family and our home. We don't have a lot of $ and have helped other families in our situation to be customers and donate when they can. BUT now your prices are no better than many ordinary stores in our area....in some cases more $. Our local store had 4 paint sticks held together by a rubber band for $4.50....??? They are FREE at our local Home Depot. Unbelievable!!

I've been to this Savers on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Tuesday and Toys have not been stocked. Also experienced a time where the store opened up 30 minutes later. The manager said they did not have a opener. Is the store manager not capable of opening a store and running the registers? Attempted to call and email corporate but never got a response back. It's like they don't care about customers. Update in went back again today Thursday 3/27 and still no toys. Just a update as of 6/10/2025 the Toy section is still not stocked. The store manager specifically told me it would take 3 weeks to get someone trained. I guess that was a lie

They get this stuff for free, and I understand needing to pay workers and such but why are all of the same jacko lantern jars differently priced, the highest being 4.99 and cheapest being 2.99 when they are originally from dollar tree, second hand things are supposed to be cheaper because they're used ???

Savers has drastically decreased in quality/pricing. There are still a few deals but several items are being listed as MORE expensive than buying them new. Lodge skillet sells for $24 new but $30 at savers. These exact garden pots are $3-5 at home Depot $6+ at savers. Plastic ornaments that would be $2 at Walmart, $5 at savers. I understand raising prices a bit but pricing objects that are heavily used for higher than they sell for new is ridiculous.

Lastly, compared to entertainment venues with high costs, Savers offers an affordable outing without compromising excitement or value.

Some locations also host donation drives and community events, offering chances to engage in collective volunteerism or charity efforts, which enhance social bonds and provide fulfilling experiences. The tangible impact of your group’s visit — diverting items from landfill, supporting non-profits — transforms an ordinary meetup into a purposeful occasion. Accessibility for people with disabilities is also a consideration at most locations, making it possible for diverse groups to enjoy their time together regardless of physical abilities. Additionally, the non-intimidating vibe of a thrift store, as opposed to crowded nightclubs or sports bars, makes it a hospitable option for different social personalities—whether you prefer lively chatter or quiet browsing. These factors combine to ensure that meeting at Savers is both enjoyable and stress-free, fostering a sense of inclusiveness and ease.
What unique social benefits does visiting Savers offer compared to other traditional meetup spots?
Unlike restaurants, cafes, or entertainment venues, Savers provides an interactive, hands-on experience that actively engages all group members with an element of surprise and delight. Furthermore, because visits to Savers support sustainable shopping and community nonprofits, they imbue social outings with greater purpose and impact.
