You get a thin crispy outer layer but the dough inside is fluffy with a slight hint of sourdough. Make sure to get the #1! Price isn’t cheap and the service charge is automatic but it’s worth it. Scottie's pizza is amazing! I've been eating their slices since they opened the first shop in SE almost a decade ago when I was visiting Portland. Whenever I'm back in the city, I make a point to visit and always send my friends there if they are visiting Portland. It's awesome to see the business has grown and expanded to two locations. This one has the same amazing pizza - the crust (naturally leavened - yum!) is so delicious and the sauce and toppings are perfection - but it has a lot more seating. The shop is just a lot bigger. If you want to sit and socialize, they have both indoor and outdoor seating options. Prices are good and the hospitality of the staff and owners is top notch. It's super family friendly. My 4-year-old kid loves getting slices there! Scottie even showed her how they stretch pizza dough the last time we were in - such a kind thing to take time to delight my child with the wonders of good pizza. Oh, and they put radicchio in the caeser salad, which just brings it over the top. Seriously, I crave that salad all the time!
