5 plus stars! What can I say. Reasonably priced, family friendly and just a great trip. We booked this 1/2 day trip for my grandsons15th birthday and to just spend family time after our daughters wedding while we were in California. The staff is THE BEST! The efficiency of the crew both inside the store and during the entire trip was stellar. We had kids ages 10-15 on the trip and they helped them bait and reel in their fish. They explained the hows and whys to the kids and were great at helping them. Even got my 10 year old grandson to touch the live bait. We have been trying for years to get him to do that. Booking this adventure was one of the highlights of our wedding week. The way the crew worked together and the fun they had while working, shows they are there because they want to not because they are punching a clock. When we go back to SanDiego next time we are going to do the twilight trip. Thanks to all the crew on a job well done! Grandson said it was the best birthday present ever!

My 16 year old son and I had an absolute blast and awesome experience on a full-day fishing trip on board the San Diego around the Coronado Islands. Right off the bat, a very warm welcome from Captain Matt Bralla and his crew. My deep concern as a novice, not to mention that this is the first time for my son to fish other than from a pier went away because the crew made as feel at ease and welcomed. Captain Matt and his crew were on top of their game, accommodating and all angles covered. Even my fellow anglers in this trip were friendly and willing to give a hand and fishing tips, contrary to some of the not so good stories I heard. This boat is super clean. Every time we pull anchor to relocate, the crew were cleaning, rinsing, making sure everything is in order. That alone left a big positive impression. I will definitely take another trip with the San Diego, probably more. Seaforth Sportsfishing in my book is a notch above in the industry. Booking and customer service above and beyond my expectations. Having their own parking lot is an added bonus that made this trip worthwhile. My son already asked me when are we going back on the San Diego.

We went out on 6/22 and it was amazing from start to finish! The Captain Sean and the crew were all very helpful very professional and made it a great trip. Tyler in the galley was also fantastic and makes a delicious burger. Next time I'm in San Diego I am booking another trip.

My family and I have gone on many 1/2 day trips on the New Seaforth over the past couple of years. From the folks behind the desk checking you in and handing out rental rods, to the deck hands, captain, and chef… we always have a great time. During each trip we’ve been on, the team aboard the New Seaforth is quick to help and eager to put everyone on fish. I really like that they don’t waste any time in one spot if fish aren’t biting. It is so fun. A great family outing. Also a tip if you get seasick (I do), I take 1 Dramamine at least 12 hours before the trip and then another 1 hour before getting on the boat. It helps me every time. Book the trip. You won’t regret it.

Great company. Friendly service in the shop as well as on the boat. My only grip as an A type personality is I needed more detail in the confirmation email. I needed to read "you will want to arrive at this time to check in. Our address is....., fishing license is this much, if you want to also rent a standard fishing pole it is this much". I understand it might be on the website, but It was not easily located. I would definitely refer this company and use this company again.
