Sean's Harvest Market

Why Sean's Harvest Market is a fun option when searching for things to do near me with friends and family
Sean's Harvest Market, established in 2012 in Atlanta, has grown into a beloved destination for locals and visitors seeking exceptional sandwiches and fresh, quick eats. Founded by Sean and Amber Germain, the market began as a modest outdoor sandwich bar tucked away in Amsterdam Walk. Inspired by street food culture experienced during their travels, they created a friendly, vibrant space where guests could enjoy high-quality, handcrafted sandwiches while sitting in a kitchen-like outdoor environment. Over the years, it has evolved into a community hub, boasting a lively atmosphere complete with killer tunes and welcoming staff, contributing to what makes it a great meetup spot for friends. Highlights include a diverse menu featuring their famous 'kickassandwiches', fresh smoothies, and locally sourced ingredients. Its open-air setup along with picnic tables encourages social gatherings and casual dining experiences. Despite growing popularity and sometimes long lines, Sean's Harvest Market retains a warm, inclusive vibe where people can share good food and conversation in Midtown Atlanta. Additional locations and seasonal adaptations demonstrate their commitment to great food and community connection.
Here's what people think of Sean's Harvest Market
As of recent, Sean's Harvest Market holds a 4.6-star rating based on 444 reviews.
Customer reviews for Sean's Harvest Market overwhelmingly praise the establishment for its fresh, tasty sandwiches and relaxed, enjoyable ambiance. Positive reviewers highlight the creativity and quality of the food, such as the vegan-friendly burrito packed with black beans, quinoa, and fresh greens, as well as Amber’s much-loved sausage biscuit. Many appreciate the quick, friendly service and the authentic outdoor food truck feel in a fixed location, making it an ideal spot for quick healthy meals and satisfying comfort food alike. The market's use of house-made and locally grown ingredients is frequently noted as a significant plus, enhancing the overall dining experience. On the other hand, some negative feedback touches on the challenges posed by long wait times during busy periods and limited seating capacity, which can make it difficult to find a spot during peak hours. Additionally, an attempt to expand via an Uptown location had to be closed after about a year, with critiques focusing on the lack of convenient parking and insufficient foot traffic at that site, which suggests some location-based limitations beyond the original market experience. Overall, the positive reviews far outweigh the negatives, confirming Sean’s Harvest Market as a respected and cherished sandwich bar in Atlanta with a loyal customer base.

This place was absolutely delicious! We tried the Holy Guacamole Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Bacon, Apple, and Cheddar Croissant—the apple butter in the croissant was a standout. The Mangolorian smoothie was incredibly refreshing, and both the grits and hash were excellent. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a tasty lunch or a smoothie, whether you’re with friends or enjoying a solo meal.

I asked for something super specific like a peanut butter jelly smoothie and they made it happen! They were enthusiastic about their job which made it 10 times better The price was absolutely decent and way better tasting than the other places which charge almost the same, if not more. I will definitely get a smoothie every time I come here. Peanut butter jelly should be put on the menu! 😂

Sean's Harvest Market at 500 Amsterdam Ave NE is truly a family-owned gem in Midtown Atlanta! Today was our first visit—and it absolutely won’t be our last. From the moment we walked up to the counter to place our order to the moment we left full and happy; every step was a delight. The menu is diverse and freshly prepared daily, offering something for everyone. I tried the Farmer’s Breakfast Panini, which was generously portioned and loaded with fresh vegetables. The standout was the lemon-tossed kale—bright, flavorful, and unforgettable. Their mixed coffee drinks, including espressos and lattes, were incredibly impressive—honestly better than some well-known coffee chains. And before leaving, I treated myself to a homemade Ooey Gooey Walnut Cookie… absolutely AMAZING. The cozy outdoor patio adds to the charm, and with the option to order ahead for pickup, it’s as convenient as it is delicious. This place has officially become one of our favorite go-to spots in Atlanta. Highly recommend checking it out—you won't be disappointed!
