Such a wonderful place! The ocean pavilion is incredibly well designed, watching all the fish in the large tank is such a fun experience. I enjoy the touch pool area where you get to interact with the sea creatures. The octopus is very fun, I recommend going to the 11am feeding. He gets very active then. I had a lot of fun by the closer look table where you get to see microscopic creatures in the water they take right from the pier! Who knew baby barnacles were so cute.

A little small but worth a visit. We enjoyed the Life on the Edge touch tank a lot! The aquarium staff were polite, personable, friendly and knowledgeable! The sea stars and sea cucumbers were awesome. The seals were cute. If you have small children, sit as close to the seals’ tank as possible and you will get great videos of your kiddos with the seals. The seals LOVE seeing children. Overall, a great visit.

I am a big fan of aquariums. I have had the chance to visit different aquariums around the USA, and the one in Seattle is definitely not the best I have seen. I understand that it is divided into two parts: one is a bit older, and the other features fish from different ocean environments and is the newer section. While it is definitely enjoyable for children, I personally believe there are areas for improvement, especially in the older section, including the service and overall upkeep.

Great experience and worth the price! We saw the otter feeding, and it wasn’t too busy on a Friday. Definitely check out the other building for the fish, too. I loved the petting area where you can touch starfish and sea cucumbers—it was super cute.

The Seattle Aquarium provided a truly interactive experience for the kids, which was fantastic! There were plenty of engaging exhibits that kept them entertained and learning. However, for the price of admission being quite high, it would be really beneficial to see a more detailed breakdown of where all the proceeds go. Understanding the impact of our ticket purchase on conservation efforts or animal care would add significant value. While I wasn't a fan of the general all-gender bathrooms, I was very grateful to see that a family bathroom was available, which made our visit much easier. Overall, it was a nice experience, and the interactive elements for children are definitely a highlight.
