Absolutely love the shows they create. Shakespeare is hard enough to put in dialogues and keep the audience engaged in a theatrical settings but they have very good actors and creative team backend. I was amazed by how intricately all details were handled from stage to stage. A definite must-do experience for any Art fan and/or a Shakespeare fan!

Since being introduced to Seattle Shakes over 20 years ago through their educational programs and student matinees, I have loved every single show they’ve produced. They are one of the cornerstones of Seattle theatre, and I always look forward to seeing what they will do with the shows they put on.

My husband and I attempted to see a play here and when we entered the lobby there was a “masks required” sign. It is utterly ridiculous that anyone is still doing this in Nov 2023. This requirement was neither indicated when we purchased our tickets nor in the confirmation email we received regarding the performance. Apparently there are four “masks required” evenings for “The Merry Wives of Windsor.” The evening we selected was not listed on their website as one of them, making it an unannounced fifth “masks required” event. We left and did not see the play. I left a message for the company which was not returned. Do not recommend.

My partner and I are season subscribers, and since we started being season subscribers I've actually got him turned on to this company. It's just a fun and fabulous experience every time. They acting troupe is inventive and creative and even though they have a very bare stage that they work with, the acting is so terrific one doesn't care. Do brush up on your Shakespeare and because this is a good way to do it.

I recently went to see "The Government Inspector". I have rarely seen such a production with such amazing comedic timing Absolutely hilarious,! I fear that I brayed like a donkey from beginning to end. There was literally not a dull moment. It was an amazing experience, and the pure genius of the actors was astonishing. Added unexpected bonus: a couple of dance scenes. Bravo to the choreographer All in all, a show not to be missed
