Two World Champion women teach at this school. Sifu Restita and Sifu Kat are the kindest, humblest and most inclusive instructors you could hope for, despite the fact that they could both tear anyone apart! This place is welcoming to all levels of experience and interest, with many different options for studying different martial arts.

I recently took a knife throwing class with Sifu Restita (Rusty) DeJesus and Sifu Kathy Long and couldn't be more pleased. My initial nervousness quickly faded as both instructor's warmth and energy made me feel welcome and relaxed. Their instruction was easy to absorb while also being extremely informative. I was never made to feel bad or awkward and had a lot of fun. The best part is that they seemed to have fun also! These are two legendary martial artists, but they never made me feel like I was wasting their time. I walked away not only more confident in learning a new skill, but excited to come back and learn even more. If you have been interested in learning martial Arts or taking a class, but have been intimidated, PLEASE check out Seattle Wushu Center. You won't regret it!

Sifu Restita provides one of the best places in the PNW (I feel) to train in martial arts. I've been to a few schools in my life, and I never really enjoyed their vibe/energy. Seattle Wushu Center has a Zen like atmosphere, making learning the Martial Arts there great. Sifu also teaches young children and is very good with them. Perhaps you or someone you know is interested in starting Kung Fu; or a parent who has a child in need of some discipline.. then look no further! Seattle Wushu Center rocks!
