Food was absolutely delicious Being from SouthEast Asia it can be hard to find a decent place or 2 for some good old fashion congee. This place really steps it up though with the protein options and the condiments available to even just spice it up. Its the kind of place that makes you want o go back and try out all the different ways you can eat it. The Chinese donuts in my opinion were a little overprices but Its Seattle My only real negative was being out on the Patio some heaters would greatly enhance the experience. 35min wait for Congee does seem excessive as well Overall Great food and decent experience,

Secret Congee is a hidden gem! The congee is rich, comforting, and packed with flavor—perfectly balanced and not bland at all. You can really taste the quality ingredients. Whether you’re feeling under the weather or just want something warm and satisfying, this place hits the spot. Simple, soulful food done right. And don’t forget to try their soy milk—it’s fresh, smooth, and goes perfectly with Youtiao! Love it

They have the Best congee in Seattle! I loved the Kimchi and Beef (replaced it with chicken) and Tom Yum congee. The ingredients used are fresh and the dish is so flavourful. It's a cosy spot right next to Shilshoe Bay and highly recommend stopping by if you're I'm the area.

The Thai meatball congee is more traditional while the Shrimp Tom Yum Congee is more creamy and milky. Both are delicious with great portions. Fresh and yummy Youtiao also. Both indoor and outdoor available.

A small and unassuming but absolutely delicious restaurant serving hearty fare. Congee (or juk, to use the term I'm more familiar with) is a kind of rice porridge very popular in East Asia, and this place does it better than basically anywhere else in Seattle. I absolutely recommend the version with the Hokkaido scallops. Though it is on the more expensive side, it is thoroughly restorative and delightful. Simply the scallops by themselves would be worth the trip to this restaurant, as they are so fresh and so firm. Even when it is frigid outside, as it was when I went here, consuming such warm scallops allows one to imagine that they are in a state of luxurious indulgence in a distant land. Also, the green tea is appropriately earthy and provide a much-needed sense of mental serenity.
