The owner of the store is highly knowledgeable about in-line skates. A virtual encyclopedia of brands and functionality of all the components of skates. Super nice and friendly. Beautiful clean store. Really helped me out as I hadn’t skated in years, was a little nervous and I’m in my 70s so have to be careful. He helped me pick the exact skate to get me rolling.

I stopped by Shop Task to check out inline skates. I haven’t skated since I was a kid, but with Seattle being so outdoor-friendly, I’ve been wanting to get back into it. Jacob was incredibly helpful and made the whole experience feel fun and approachable. He took the time to explain the different types of skates and helped me find the perfect pair for my skill level and goals. What really made my day was how he customized the skates with the cutest pink glittery wheels and even added a brake (which I definitely need as I get started again!). The level of care and customer service was amazing. You can tell he’s passionate and knows his stuff. I’d highly recommend Shop Task to anyone looking to get into skating or upgrade their gear. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned skater, this is the place to go!

Excellent selection of inline skates, parts, wheels, and accessories. Staff is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable! Love being able to try out skates before making a decision. They also repaired my old pair of skates with super quick turn-around of 1 day! Highly recommend if you're in the market for inline skates or need parts / repair / tune up!

Just ordered my first pair of rollerblades from this shop and I cannot recommend this place enough. I called the shop with some questions and Brian (I hope so spelled his name correctly) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Purchased the FRX 80 rollerblades from FR. These rollerblades are fantastic. They ran true to size and got the same size as my regular shoe size. Ordered them on Wednesday and arrived on Friday from Seattle to Los Angeles! Update 4/26/2025 Was in town for a few days and I stopped by the shop. The staff was incredibly helpful in recommending a pair of rollerblades for my four year old son. They shipped them home for no additional charge. He's really enjoying his rollerblades!
