As of recent, Shoreline Amphitheatre holds a 4.4-star rating based on 9924 reviews.
Shoreline Amphitheatre boasts an overall positive reception from concertgoers, with many praising its strong lineup of artists and the unique atmosphere that draws them back. On the positive side, attendees highlight the venue's sizable capacity that accommodates both reserved seating and general admission lawn areas, allowing flexibility in how they enjoy shows. The quality of sound is generally well-regarded due to the outdoor setup minimizing unwanted echoes, offering clear and loud performances. Food options and the availability of essentials like foam earplugs have also been positively noted for enhancing the concert-going experience. Visited Shoreline Amphitheatre for Google I/O 2025, and I must say – what an incredible experience! The venue itself is iconic, nestled in the heart of Mountain View with a scenic backdrop and a layout that blends open-air energy with solid organization. From the moment I entered, the staff and volunteers ensured everything was smooth – quick check-ins, clear signage, and a great flow of people. The open lawn seating offered a relaxed vibe, while the structured seating closer to the stage made it easy to focus during keynotes and product announcements. The sound and visuals were top-notch, as you’d expect from a tech giant’s annual developer conference. Despite hosting thousands of attendees, the space never felt overwhelming – there’s something magical about the combination of cutting-edge innovation and fresh California air. Bonus points for food trucks, chill zones, and interactive booths around the venue. Google really knows how to use every inch of Shoreline to deliver both inspiration and comfort. Whether you’re here for a concert or a conference like Google I/O, Shoreline Amphitheatre is a venue that delivers the full experience – energy, views, vibe, and functionality all in one.

Perfect venue for Google I/O. Seating was comfortable for longer sessions. The surrounding park and amenities were excellent for the event. Lighting and sound for live speaking and the DJ were really well done. Can’t wait to go back to Shoreline to see some rockin’ music now!

I attended a show 7/28, unfortunately I was unable to get ADA seating but was lucky enough to find a spot on the lawn close to the entrance and exit. Only to my surprise that when we went down the ramp to go to the restroom, the staff would not allow me to go back up the same way. As someone with Rheumatoid Arthritis, I find it difficult at times to walk up multiple flights of stairs which was the way the staff was directing us. I simply let her know that I have a disability and it is very difficult for me to walk up that many stairs and to walk down the grass at such an steep angle. She proceeded to be extremely rude and continue to tell me that I had to go all the way around and up the stairs. As a 21 year old women, there was absolutely no reason for me to lie about my disability that I didn’t choose to have. Instead of allowing me to use the accessible path right in front of me, I was forced to go all the way around the building and up multiple flights of stairs—an exhausting and unnecessary detour. It was not only physically difficult but deeply frustrating, highlighting a lack of basic consideration and proper accommodations for disabled attendees. Unfortunately with this interaction with the staff and lack of knowledge from her, it created a bad experience, it’s upsetting to go to venue as great as Shoreline is and try to enjoy a concert when the staff is unhelpful and not understanding of my disability or situation. I hope that if in the future when I or other people with disabilities speak to your staff about accommodations that you staff will take it serious and not make a mockery of the situation. Besides that the venue was great, lines for food and drinks weren’t long at all and it was enjoyable!

The 4 of July concert tonight at Shoreline Amphitheater was great in terms of music (and fireworks), but the overall organization definitely needs serious improvement. We spent over an hour stuck in traffic just outside the venue, with absolutely no clear signs or directions. The only information we managed to get came from one of the traffic coordinators, but unfortunately, it was completely wrong, which caused us to lose an extra 30 minutes. As a result, we only made it inside halfway through the concert -- and this is despite the fact that we had purchased the $25 parking pass in advance. Once we finally got inside, we faced more issues. Since we had a stroller with us, we asked the staff where to go, and they pointed us towards a specific entrance. But once there, we found only stairs. It makes me wonder -- how are people in wheelchairs supposed to access their seats if this is the level of accessibility provided? The situation after the show was just as bad, if not worse. We were trapped in the parking lot for over an hour, with traffic at a standstill and only ONE exit for the entire lot. It's honestly ridiculous -- a venue of this size should have multiple exits. This experience was chaotic and frankly inhumane (for us, especially with two toddlers). Shoreline really needs to rethink its logistics if they want people to keep coming back.

Greetings Googlers, my adventure here was for the Hardy concert. The place was fairly easy to navigate and parking isn’t that bad if you want to get the free parking in. My partner in crime and I got seats in the stands but feel even the lawn tickets were great seats. This place is kind of small compared to other venues I’ve been to but either way would come back to another event here. Only thing I’d warn first time visitors about this place is the food. The on premise places aren’t as good as the food trucks. I made this mistake and got chicken from the huts they had around because there was no line and I found out why. The chicken was cold and fries were stale. I ask for a fresher tray and got a semi luke warm tray. Also got a bratwurst at another hut location and got another semi warm tray but little warmer than the last place. Highly discourage anyone from buying food from those huts and wish I’d waited for the food trucks since I ended up just tossing the food cause of how nasty it was. The alcohol was way over priced but hey I get it the tickets weren’t an arm and a leg so gotta make money somehow. Recommend preflighting before the show (obviously be responsible about it). Had fun and will be back around here.
