Beautiful and clean park with numerous water and outdoor activities for the family. You can rent paddle boats or kayaks by the hour as well as a half day rate. I often see couples on tandems bicycles. There is small park area with climbing devices for the kids. There is a walking and biking trail that takes you around the lake and eventually connects to Bay Land bike trail. The grass area has trees and is shaded. Due to the area being manicured and well kept people often picnic at the park. Numerous benches to simply sit down and enjoy the views and weather.

Shoreline park in Mountain View has become one of my favorite parks after I visited it . We visited on Memorial Day weekend and the weather was sunny with cold breeze coming from the lake making us feel cold . I hope it feels good in summer days . Like others have mentioned you can rent paddle boat , kayak or bike. We rented 4 seater paddle boat at 35$ for an hour . My 3 years old toddler loved the ride . The trail around the lake is flat and stroller friendly. I saw people walking, running and biking on the trail. Kids were riding the bike and scooter too .There are enough places for picnic or just to hang out with friends and family . There are very less shaded places . So that might be a problem during summer . The restroom was the best part as I am 30 weeks pregnant and I had to use it very often lol. Rarely I find restroom so close and clean in any park . There is a restaurant but what we did is we went to google visitor experience center after this and had our lunch at their cafe which was amazing. You must try their cafe hahaha .

Shoreline Park in Mountain View is a great spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The lake is beautiful, especially at sunrise or sunset, and the trails are perfect for a walk, jog, or bike ride. You can rent paddle boats or kayaks, which is a lot of fun, or just sit and watch the birds—it’s super peaceful. There’s a nice café by the lake if you want a snack or coffee. There’s plenty of open space for picnics or just hanging out, and it’s a great place for families too. Parking is free and easy, which is a big plus. Overall, it’s a chill place to spend a few hours and escape the hustle of the Bay Area.

One of my favorite places to walk or run on a flat surface. Pawed paths South East and gravel North West originate from the park. Home to wildlife (please be respectful), great spots for nature photographers or to catch the moment when the full Moon shows up from behind the East Bay mountains. Pets are not allowed, bikers are ok. Very busy during the weekends. Additional parking outside of the park from Sant Antonio Road. Picnic tables and areas for gatherings are available. Sunsets are always spectacular.

I love this area here at Shoreline Park in Mountain View California. It’s vast with so many things to do and see. From the boat rental to the bird viewing it’s lots of fun. There’s a restaurant with an important restroom and of course you have the hiking trails which are great. 👍😎
