I got the chicken fried steak. It usually comes with some kind of breading. It didn't. Just a flat overcooked steak. He got the French dip. It tasted like a used dish rag. One bite and we sent it back. We didn't get the waffle we asked for but dropped it at first to then say we DO want it now. We were going to just leave it at that when they charged us for the French dip that we didn't eat!? I pointed it out to the nice waitress who then said the boss said we have to pay. I asked to speak with her. Waited 15 minutes to find the owner on the waitresses cell phone to question me about it. Told me that the steaks that I LOVE elsewhere, all come frozen and I'm wrong about the quality. Said the customer is NOT always right and finally took it off of our bill after saying I'm just waisting food. Needless to say, we won't be going back.

The food here is great and delicious. The BreadPudding is actually better than that in Shadowbrook. Customer service is great, Food is served quick. They were able to customize my tea the way I wanted and i loved it.

Gross. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs over medium. The steak was dripping grease and it soaked into the potatoes. The gravy was not gravy, it looked like oatmeal, lumpy oatmeal and dud not taste like gravy. The over medium eggs were over easy with runy liquid whites. The hash browns tasted like an aluminum pan, very chemical taste. The coffee was great though. I did not, could not eat the meal. The waiter sees my plate pushed away from me uneaten, didn't ask how it was, didnt care, just dropped off the bill. $25.00 for a meal that was inedible. I'm a fat guy, I eat everything and am not to picky about food, it just needs to be tasty. Now I'm out 25 bucks and hungry.

This is a nice little small town. Diner. I had a bacon omelette that was stuffed with bacon and cheese. Hash browns are very good and fresh. Service is real quick and the waiter is friendly. I haven't been here in a couple years cuz I moved away so it was nice to reunite myself with quality food that's cooked at the silver spur. Great place to drink coffee with your friends and eat breakfast.
