Ben is a great teacher and helped me get over my fear of blunt fakies! Also great tips on heel flips and other tricks

Ben is the ultimate skate sensei and an all around good dude. Adult skate lessons are rare to come by, especially in the winter. Ben's lessons are fairly priced and jam-packed with skate knowledge. He also produces "progress videos" with pointers for everyone. Best indoor shredding in chicago.

I always have a blast and learn a bunch each class! Ben encourages me to do the scary things I wouldn’t do on my own which gives me a bunch of confidence on my board. He walks me through techniques to accomplish tricks efficiently which helps me a lot. I love that he has a private setup of all types of awesome ramps that he built himself. Dude is an awesome teacher, and extremely passionate. 100% recommended.

Ben is a kind, patient and caring teacher. He goes out of his way to help and ensure his students understand tricks and skating techniques. I highly recommend Ben as a skate instructor for private or group lessons/parties.

Ben is amazing, simply put. My kids (5 and 8 yo) wanted to try out skateboarding but didn’t have confidence. One lesson with Ben later and they were riding their boards all over the neighborhood. Ben was professional, kind, patient, and flexible with the kids. He kept their interest for an hour by changing up the skills to work on so it was exciting (tricks) and basic skill building (pushing off, moving forward). I can’t recommend Ben and SK8 Chicago enough.
