Solid 4.6 from a longtime skater. Several people recommended I stop by for a Tuesday night Adult Skate . . . From 9:00 — Midnight. This was my first visit and I wasn’t disappointed. Staff super nice and friendly, great lighting and sound system, though on this particular night I would have liked to hear at least one or two dance / disco classics from the 1980’s era. My only real critiques are limited parking and the floor size seems a bit small for what at first appears to be a large airplane hangar style building. San Diego is lucky to have this great indoor skating option in addition to the awesome boardwalk along Mission Bay. If you’re visiting from out of town as I was this evening, it’s well worth a visit. Enjoy a few pics and videos.

🛼 Retro Skating Fun 🛼 I recently visited Skateworld San Diego on a Wednesday evening with my friend who's an experienced skater, while I was a complete beginner. I was honestly nervous about falling and getting in everyone's way, but it turned out to be the perfect environment for learning! 🤗 Welcoming Atmosphere 🤗 Everyone we encountered was incredibly chill and kind. The staff and other skaters were so patient with beginners like me, creating a truly supportive space to learn. This isn't surprising since Skateworld prides itself on creating a safe space for skaters of all ages to enjoy themselves! 🌟 Amazing Retro Vibes 🌟 The building itself is super cute with a wonderful retro aesthetic. The disco ball hanging from the ceiling and the fun music they played created such a vibrant atmosphere! It really added to the whole experience and made even my awkward first attempts at skating feel like part of the fun. 🎵 Great Music Selection 🎵 They play such awesome tunes that get you in the groove! Whether you're an expert or just starting out, the music makes you want to keep moving. It's clear why they mention "grooving to fun music" as part of their identity. 💯 Perfect for Beginners 💯 As someone who was worried about making a fool of myself, I can honestly say this was the ideal place to learn. The supportive environment, spacious wooden skating rink, and overall friendly vibe made me comfortable enough to keep trying even after a few stumbles. 💖 Definitely Coming Back! 💖 I had such a fantastic time that I'm absolutely returning! Whether you're a skilled skater or a complete novice like me, Skateworld San Diego offers a fun, inclusive experience that's hard to beat. Can't wait for my next visit to build on my newly discovered skating skills!

First time at Skatewolrd. Great place to spend time with family and friends. They have what you need to get you on the skating ring. They also offer a concession stand, an area to host parties and lockers. Had an excellent time with the family and look forward to going back. This place is also great any out of Towner's and or if you have family or friends visiting San Diego area that would like to try something fun. Parking is small, but there is parking around and near by. 😁👍
