Was excited to try this place for Saturday brunch…. it was ALMOST good. Maybe it was an off day. I asked our waitress if the gravy that comes with the breakfast skillet would be provided on the side, and she confirmed that yes, it was. When I received it, portions of the skillet were drenched in gravy… it was wayyy too salty to the point that whatever I ate under the gravy was unpalatable. Was not happy with this, especially after I had specifically asked. :( The stack of pancakes were nice and fluffy though!! So this was a sliver of redemption. The bacon for Your Way was several touches too crisp, it was like eating chips. The chicken for the chicken and waffles was well-seasoned but under fried with a soggy crust, but the cornmeal waffle had an interesting texture; it wasn’t crisp like we were expecting and also borderline soggy, but we ended up deciding it was alright. Just some minor tweaks are needed.

Good brunch spot on capital hill, got my family of 4 in on Mother’s Day rather quickly. Good service, decent coffee. Parking is a bit difficult and the sandwiches a bit messy but overall I’d go again!

Eight of us walked in at the 10am on a Saturday and were able to be seated immediately. Eddie our server was awesome. Lots chicken and flavorful combinations of breakfast and lunch served all day.

Super cute space. Staff was friendly. The food was mid. The Cluck Chub was decent. The Breakfast Skillet was 👎. It was super pricey given the food quality. The portions were great but didn’t out way the quality.

We were seated in the small side room to the right of the entrance. Worked for us! Great lighting and not loud. Our party started with an order of the French donuts (beignets). Considered putting in a second order as it was so yummy but we decided to leave room for our entree. I don't remember what anyone else ordered. I just remember debating whether to go with the chilaquiles or the whiskey shrimp and grits. The chilaquiles won out and were delicious. Looking forward to trying the shrimp and grits next time!
