Went sledding on Sledding Hill today. It was very fun! Had a great time. Free parking was available relatively close to the bottom. Hay bales lined the left and right sides of the sledding area, which made it safe on case one sledded near the edge. The hill was steep enough to be fun, but not too steep, so safe for younger kids.

This was a great spot to sled. But apparently free parking is no longer available. The sledding hill was accessible to everyone, great location properly maintained. But now I guess you’re forced to pay for parking at Soldier Field. Again, the city or park district demonstrates a lack of accessibility to all who wish to participate or enjoy the parks.
