Basically it is a large field which is now an off leash dog park. It is scheduled for renovation soon. However, right across the street is a beautiful shower line with views of downtown and cruise ships. Nice walking and biking trail there.

Sigh! I almost don’t want to leave a review! I wish it would remain quiet and uncrowded for many, many years to come!! Smith Cove park is very close to the Elliot Bay Marina and affords beautiful views of the olympics if you venture out on to the beaches at the end of the paved road. Sunsets here are magical! 🙂 and you can see Rainier too!

Small park right on the water with a few picnic tables and benches to enjoy the view. Some of the best views are partially blocked so I wouldn't go out of my way to visit but if you find yourself bike riding through the area it is a good place to take a break.

Great open spot for the dogs to run freely. Not officially a dog park but it's completely fenced in. You'll find many canines there on a nice summer evening. Bring water for your dog, as there's no available water at the park. Seattle

Watch the cruise ships on the water and have a good view of the bay and marina but the park is run down no water no bathrooms and looks to be a play field and grass area across the street and below the admiral house and I won’t be going back unless I want a place to get drunk at with no one to bug me and make a lot of noise no one would hear you and matter of fact I will be comming here in the dog days of summer to cool off! That’s what’s this spot is good for!
