We did the Brothels, Bites and Booze Tour with Kaylee as our guide. What a delight Kaylee was and what a fun tour. We had a small group which allowed us to get to know each other a bit on the tour which made it all the more fun. Hint: Don’t eat before going on this tour. You will be full by the end of the tour. You get history, funny facts and great food and drink. Do this tour people and ask for Kaylee as your guide. Fun, food, drink and new friends!

Bleu was the best guide and we had a wonderful tour experience on the Brothels, Bites and Booze tour. We walked around the gas lamp, learned about the local history, stopped at three restaurants to sample cuisine and have a paired drink. Wonderful experience, would definitely recommend.

We recently had the pleasure of taking a tour of Little Italy with an exceptional guide, Aparna. From the moment the tour began, it was clear that we were in for a memorable experience. Our guide was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that everyone in the group felt comfortable and engaged throughout the tour. Her knowledge of Little Italy was impressive. She shared fascinating historical facts, cultural insights, and little-known anecdotes that truly brought the neighborhood to life. It was evident that she had a deep passion for the area and a wealth of information to share. What made the tour even more enjoyable was her kind and personable nature. She took the time to get to know each member of the group, making everyone feel included and valued. Her lively and entertaining storytelling kept us all captivated, and her sense of humor added a delightful touch to the experience. We found ourselves laughing and smiling throughout the tour. In addition to being knowledgeable and entertaining, our guide was also very funny. She had a knack for weaving humor into her narratives, which made the tour not only informative but also a lot of fun. Her lively personality and enthusiasm were infectious, and it was clear that she genuinely enjoyed what she was doing. Overall, our tour of Little Italy was a fantastic experience, thanks in large part to our wonderful guide. The food was very delightful as well – especially the focaccia. Aparna was accommodating, knowledgeable, kind, entertaining, funny, personable, and lively. We couldn't have asked for a better guide to show us around this vibrant neighborhood. Highly recommended!

What an amazing experience. I consider myself a San Diego since I’ve lived here mostly for 14 years and my dad retired here from the Navy. I currently live overseas as part of my own military family and a Navy veteran, but have come home to visit. Realizing I don’t know any history of my city that I claim home, I suggested to my friends that we do this and I’m so glad we did it! My cousin even joined us! Blerta, aka B, was an amazing tour guide. You can see she enjoys the knowledge she’s learned and enjoys telling people about it. Her ability to keep the group engaged and moving is wonderful. For the price I paid, i really felt like we got our moneys worth. We stopped at 3 locations and got a sampler of one of their entrees as well as a drink. The pairing of the food and drink went so well together and might’ve given us a little buzz, but nothing crazy. You were able to order more to drink or eat if you wanted, but we were at each location a certain amount of time with the walking tour of the city between each location so you would have to chug your drink and/or take your food to go. At one of the locations was Casa Octavio and the bartender Alex was awesome! We were able to purchase additional Mexican Candy Shots for the group. I’ve NEVER had one and he made special ones for our group that were incredibly delicious!!!! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and I hope to go to the Old Town one later this month!

My sister and I had a really great time on the “Brothels, Bites and Booze” tour in the Gaslamp quarter. The company gave very specific coordinates on the pick up and drop off locations. You meet at the Gaslamp Quarter sign near the hard rock hotel and you end at Cal Cream Ice Cream. Parking in the gaslamp quarter can be sparse so I’d advise arrive a half hour earlier than the tour to find parking. Our tour guide Magda was the best part. She was very kind and knew her history. She even gave us tips on other things to do while we were in tour. The route was super easy and on a Monday the streets weren’t crowded at all. We went to 3 sit down restaurants and did some sight seeing in between. We went to: -Meze and had the Greek quesadilla (this was my favorite food of the night) and the Greek Sangria. The restaurant gave us a coupon for 10% off our next visit and a free entry coupon to a speakeasy (Prohibition Lounge) in town right next door to The Field Irish Pub -Smoky J’s bbq (locals say they’re the best bbq in San Diego) for the pulled pork slider and American Lager -The Field Irish Pub for their shepherds pie and Irish mule (my favorite drink of the night) -Cali Cream, I had the cookies and crème scoop After all this, my sister and I went to the speakeasy that Magda and The Meze recommended and had the best time. I will be booking another tour with this company. I got my ticket through the Viator app for $88 per person two weeks in advance. Our group was 12 people at 5:30pm. You must try the “Brothels, Bites and Booze” tour or any of their other tours because it is WELL WORTH THE MONEY. Thanks again Magda!
