This ended up being the perfect place for my daughter’s bridal shower! It was so elegant and beautiful. The service (Shania was awesome) and food were very good too. We had brunch and ordered our cupcakes ahead of time from the bakery. Delicious! All of it! We had an incredible time!

We (two ladies) visited in August of 2025 for the afternoon tea. The service was very slow, we waited about 15 minutes after being sat to get water, and frequently had to wait long for refills. The waiter was nice but not very attentive. There was a 22% non optional gratuity automatically added. I do not feel the service met that level of compensation. The tea was already $75 per person for some tiny sandwiches, scones, and a couple bakery treats. The food itself tasted fine. The atmosphere was nice but the prep area being in the dining room lead to conversations being interrupted by clanking dishes. I do not regret going, but wouldn't go again. EDIT: The owner did personally reach out and offer a $50 gift card for me us to return. While generous, I do stand by my original opinion that this tea room is over priced for the services provided, but I do appreciate and want to recognize her for trying to make it right.

We love the themed teas at Society Bakery and Tea Room and the Martha Stewart Afternoon Tea was no exception! We enjoyed the traditional egg salad and chicken salad tea sandwiches along with the new and unique asparagus and radish and cucumber tea sandwiches. We loved all of the nods to Martha Stewart like the Grand Marnier Orange Scone with Quince and Martha’s chocolate chip cookies individually wrapped to take home for later. The tea selections were delightful and the service and ambiance were excellent as always. The girls in my family and I have attended several themed teas at Society Bakery and Tea Room and love the little details and surprises that await us with each visit. Highly recommend for a wonderful afternoon tea experience in Dallas!
