Sole food has an awesome selection! The employees are hit or miss. I’ve had some really helpful ones and some unfriendly ones. This last visit was great. The staff was very helpful in helping me choose a color of boot. It would be fantastic if you would start a rewards program of some sort so customers can get discounts etc. as they acquire points! I’ve visited this store twice now, and both times have been disappointing. The first time, I thought maybe the women up front were just having a bad day—they didn’t acknowledge me or offer help unless I approached them, even though the store wasn’t busy. When I did ask for help, they weren’t very friendly. Unfortunately, my second visit today was no different. The store was still quiet, and since it’s quite small, it’s impossible not to notice when someone walks in. I was in the store for about 10 minutes, clearly browsing, and no one offered assistance. I even noticed two other customers walk in after me, and both were greeted and asked if they needed help—something that didn’t happen to me. I had hoped the first experience was just a one-off, but it seems to be a pattern. I hope others haven’t had the same experience when trying to shop here. Thanks!

Attention Mica Harris. We tried to return a defective pair of shoes again today. These shoes were purchased less than 2 weeks ago and worn for less than 3 days. We tried to return them a few days ago, and the employee took them to "repair" the stitching which had failed. The repair however failed after one use. We tried again today and said we would like our money back. The employee would not do the return, stating they can't be returned once worn. But I'd like to understand how a defective pair of shoes can be identified without wearing it? I'd be very happy to update this one star review if you could please give this some attention. In the meantime, it's very frustrating to pay a decent amount of money for a pair of shoes, have them fail with an obvious manufacturing defect after several days, and have no recourse.

Frustrating customer service. We bought a pair of shoes here which turned out to be too narrow. Nobody in the store offered to help with fitting, they just brought shoes out. They refused to take a return because The shoes were worn once. For these prices, return policy, and customer service, you may as well shop online.

Love, love love this shoe store! The selection of shoes is really diverse and they're excellent quality - one pair just isn't enough! The customer service was top notch (which isn't always the case in retail stores), they were friendly, helpful and I felt like they cared about how the shoes fit rather than just making a quick buck. I also really appreciated their mask policy and felt comfortable shopping. Would highly recommend and will be back for another pair!
