BRING CASH!!! Last night was my first time at SOMA. The venue was pretty cool overall. It was warm if you were in the crowd, but I stayed to the back and that made it cooler. The free parking was nice. Getting in was quick and easy. They only offered beer and seltzers at one small stand in the back. I think my biggest complaint was that they had a concession stand with snacks, water, and Red Bull that was CASH ONLY. And this was the only place to get water. There are ATMs, but they had high fees. I'm not a big drinker, but ended up buying a seltzer just to have something to drink because I was so thirsty and didn't have any cash. My ex, who doesn't drink beer or seltzers at all, had to go thirsty all night because we had no cash on us, and there is no re-entry, so we couldn't go grab some water from the car.

Sound is pretty good, not the best in the city but if a band/ performer that you really love has to play at this venue then you shouldn't miss it. The main stage ground/ floor is all the same level so it can be really hard to see from certain spots so just keep moving around until you get a good view. The drinks are incredibly over priced ($11 for ONE 12 oz. modelo is crazy). The parking lot will often be full so get there early or check the back streets. Pretty good venue but it just sucks that the owner had to give this ALL AGES venue a bad reputation.

The show was awesome the venue is okay. Big open space but the lights could be updated. Sound was decent until the head liner went on then it was cracked way up and distorted the person rapping.

Small venue where you can see bands up close and personal. People complain about the laxk of air circulation, but you can go outside easily. Great merch prices and water is $3. Great employees! Everyone is so nice. Plenty off parking if the show is small.

Sick venue. Not enough options for drinks. Hate seltzers so that sucked. But the show was amazing well lit spacious and plenty of room to dance and go nuts. Sound was sick. Everything was amazing.
