Echoing what others have said, this facility is very poorly managed. There are some great coaches so it is unfortunate but there are many problems with their billing practices, unfair cancellation policies, an overall lack of consideration & respect for customers and unjustified price increases. There is no oversight for skill level so often times players lacking fundamentals will show up to intermediate classes and skew the pace and experience. Aside from the convenient location, I much prefer Caswell where I’m treated as a loyal customer should be.

Love this place—absolutely the nicest courts and best instructors / fun group classes in all of Austin. Pretty busy if you don’t reserve courts in advance, but classes can be booked pretty last minute. Great vibes from all the fellow players as well.

I love playing tennis here. Great for all levels. Clinics are fun and very informative. Highly recommend as I’ve tried out most of the tennis centers in Austin. Make sure to take classes with Hemanshu, he’s the best!

I LOVE this place. LET me tell you why. South Austin Tennis Center is in a LEAGUE of its own. It's easy to schedule, easy to park, easy to meet new players, easy to work with coaches, many of whom APPROACH tennis instruction by providing both technique and positioning advice. The real ADVANTAGE is that coaches also know how to have fun with their students...they know how to SERVE up and RECEIVE good humor. There's never a DAMPENER moment. NET-NET, this is the best tennis teaching facility in Central Texas. I hate to BREAK it to you: No FAULTS and no BACKHANDED comments from this reviewer.

SATC instructors will improve your game, regardless of playing level. In particular, Coach Karla is a natural - she helped me hone and zone in on 3-4 tricky form issues for improved performance and overall enjoyment playing in my league. Loved how she improved my tactical efforts and threw in overall strategy for bigger picture when playing. Highly recommend!
