Hands down, one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to in Miami. The view from the pier is absolutely breathtaking—the ocean stretching endlessly, the breeze on your face, and the sunset? Pure magic. It’s the kind of spot that makes you stop, breathe, and just feel present. I could’ve stayed there forever. Even the walk from the beach to the pier felt peaceful and grounding. Everything about this place—from the water to the skyline to the colors of the sky—just felt right. It’s not just a view, it’s a feeling. Calm, stunning, and full of life. Whether you’re there for a stroll, to watch the waves crash, or to just sit and take it all in, South Pointe Park Pier is 100% worth visiting.

Located at the very eastern end of the park, it’s one of my favorite places within the park. I come here pretty often to spot containers ships and or cruises sailing in or out. You can see them from so close. Also the ocean views are beautiful with the south beach waterfront, it’s just pretty. I recommend it either early or late in the day. For sunrises, it’s just epic.

This is a beautiful pier located at the very south of Miami Beach. From here you have a wonderful view of the coast and the water had a staggering teal color. This is definitely a recommended place to visit if you are in Miami and there are few seats that are not fully under the sun where you can fully enjoy your view!

South Pointe Park Pier is as you’d expect the most Southern part of Miami South Beach. We decided to visit South Pointe Pier around sunset and this proved to be a great idea. Access to the Pier is just off Ocean Drive and the coastal boardwalk and offers very easy access for every ability. The Pier is flanked by a huge rock break water and provides a superb outlook and vista of Fisher Island, the Atlantic Ocean and as far as the eye can see North up Miami Beach. Spectacular views to be had from this pier and a place everyone must visit when in Miami. It’s typically very windy due to its exposed position so don’t wear a hat…!!

I’ve been to South Pointe Park several times, and it’s one of my favorite spots in Miami Beach. The views are incredible—ocean on one side, skyline on the other. You can watch massive cruise ships pass by from the pier. It feels peaceful even when it’s busy. The walking paths are wide and clean. I’ve gone jogging here early in the morning—low crowds, soft breeze, and the sunrise is worth getting up for. There’s a great splash pad and playground, which kept my nephew entertained for hours. I’ve eaten at Smith & Wollensky inside the park—pricey but the view and service made it worth it. There’s also a casual café near the kid’s area for snacks. Parking is hit-or-miss. If you don’t get here early, you might circle for a while. Shade is limited too, so bring sunscreen or a hat. Overall, it’s a clean, safe, and beautiful place to relax, walk, or bring the family. I recommend it if you want a break from the loud parts of South Beach.
