I enjoyed riding here back in the day, my instructor Hannah Mattis was very knowledgable and pushed me to be better. Only downside of this place from the "clinques" and how rude the other riders can be. Otherwise loved it!

My daughter has been taking lessons there for 6 years and we have boarded our pony there for 3 years. This is a wonderful facility where I feel confident my daughter and pony are well loved and cared for. They have lessons for all different level riders, kids and adults, with a variety of school horses to choose from. Can't recommend it enough!!
Susanne Martin
My daughter, Nicki started riding there at age 9. I started as a mom feeding horses carrots while my girl rode. Now 5 years later we have two horses and SOEC is a second home. Even my husband knows each horse by name and personality. Hannah Mattis is an amazing Trainer, she has taken my Nicki so far so quickly and we still have so much to look forward to. I know Hannah will guide Nicki every step of the way and her potential is limitless under her tutelage. Margaret runs the place very smoothly and is always there for us and the horses. The kids are great at SOEC and support each other at shows and around the barn. I am so happy that we found this gem of place and we consider the whole Mattis clan and the other barn parents and children as part of our extended family.
