This park and Mueller Lake Park next to it are so beautiful, but they are so poorly managed. There is often litter, dead ducks, dead fish. They recently cleaned these lakes and didn’t respect the wildlife at all— they left huge plastic pipes. I found a displaced turtle stuck at the top of a dry rocky area, due to how quickly they drained the lakes. I often see herons with fish lines stuck on their feet because they allow fishing over here, as if they weren’t hurting and killing enough of the wildlife as it is. Mueller also recently chopped down a ton of trees, leaving dozens of birds dead in the grass by the food trucks…. It’s just shameful how they pretend to care but then don’t follow through at all.

A nice trail for walking with fruit trees, not much shade. Bathrooms are run down

We were hoping to see some butterflies but we weren’t so lucky when we came by. The trail is pretty to walk but it is relatively short. There are a few benches scattered around different parts. There is also a small pond, which is nice to look at. The flowers along the trail are pretty

A nice place to walk, off of the more beaten path of Mueller Lake Park. This isn't an area for lounging in the grass, as most of these landscaping of intended to preserve native plants and habitat, but the trails are pleasant and varied, with interesting sculpture installations along the way. There are some shady picnic tables along the pond as well, and a few small man-made waterfalls add nice ambience. Could be a little longer, and the last part of the loop is right next to the road, but still quite nice.

Such a beautiful, calming, dog-friendly park. There are lots of picnic tables and great areas to just sit talk and take pictures. It is a great time to take pics at golden hour and have fun walks with your dogs. Lots of trash and recycling bins so no needa worry bout that. Definitely check it out when you have the free time
