I am being overly generous with the one star rating! This is by far THE WORST place I have ever been. The store is usually messy, the bathrooms are always disgusting, and the floor in front of the fountain drinks always needs mopping. The manager Mary is rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and ignorant. I have a service animal. I have tried to enter the store on a few different occasions. Each time I have been denied by Mary. On May 29,.2025, I again tried to enter the store with my service dog. This time he was in his service animal vest. Mary again told me I could not enter. I again told her he is a service animal. She told me they do not recognize service animals. Are you kidding me??

Stopped here to use the bathroom and it was disgusting. The toilet seat was full of pee splatters and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month. The sink was full of dirt splatters and dark spots, it smelt bad. One of the worst gas station bathrooms I have been to. Speedway gas stations that I have been to are usually nice but this one was terrible.

Great place to get gas or snacks for the road. Great customer service. Mary and Trina go above and beyond to help with what you need, are very friendly and deserve a raise.

Would rate zero if possible, I've noticed a disturbing trend in certain gas stations removing their water dispenser from their soda machines. I believe that providing free ice and water if it is in your own container should be the minimum standard expected at all fuel centers. I refuse to give business to any and all fuel centers that refuse to provide a means of free ice and water as a minimum courtesy. Vote with your wallet and let's make the corporations and or businesses that have made this unfortunate choice understand that there is a consequence for denying your customers a basic need such as water. They should receive no business whatsoever until this is corrected.

This gas station is awesome. It's very clean. The best part about it is the attendant, Travis. He is so polite and takes care of everything with a smile. I visit this location at least 4 nights a week. Love it.

Moreover, Speedway’s affordability is a draw; purchasing snacks, drinks, or fuel here won’t break the budget, which is often a concern for larger groups. While reviews sometimes highlight customer service challenges, the core function as a fueling and convenience point remains strong and consistent. Many Speedway stores feature well-stocked aisles catering to diverse tastes and dietary needs, which means friends or family members can easily find something they enjoy without hassle. How does Speedway accommodate different group sizes and social needs? Speedway accommodates casual gatherings of varied sizes by providing flexible and informal settings designed for quick visits. Since most Speedway locations are accessible by car with ample parking space, they are well-suited for small groups of friends meeting after work or larger family units preparing for road trips. The abundance of grab-and-go items means no guest has to wait for long food preparation times, keeping the energy moving and interactions lively. While not designed as a sit-down venue, some Speedway stores do have small seating areas or outdoor spaces where groups can linger briefly. For groups with members who aren’t driving, access to refreshments and essentials while waiting in a clean, well-lit environment is an added comfort. The convenience of Speedway’s layout also supports easy dispersal—after the meetup, individuals or sub-groups can quickly hit the road without logistical delays. This flexibility allows groups with diverse preferences and schedules to use Speedway as an efficient hub for socializing without the delays or constraints typical of more formal meeting places.
What are some unique benefits of choosing Speedway for a friend or family gathering? Beyond the obvious convenience, Speedway’s strength lies in its role as a community resource that caters to everyday needs with speed and reliability. Many Speedway stores feature loyalty programs and discounts, allowing groups to save on fuel and purchase at better prices, which adds tangible value during frequent meetups. The incorporation of fresh coffee and energizing snacks supports casual, conversational atmospheres—a small but meaningful boost for group interactions that might last longer than the typical quick stop. The variety of available products means guests have choices that can accommodate food sensitivities or preferences, helping everyone feel included in the gathering. In addition, some Speedway locations host seasonal promotions or special product launches, which can add a fun twist to meetups and provide conversational starters. Despite some mixed reviews on customer service, many regular customers appreciate the employees who create repeat visits comfortable and welcoming. By choosing Speedway, your group taps into a practical, budget-friendly venue that supports convenience as well as the simple joy of spending time together with minimal fuss.

Friends embarking on road trips, family members traveling between cities, or riding groups on weekend outings find Speedway to be a natural rendezvous point to fuel up both vehicles and spirits. For groups looking for economically smart choices, Speedway offers accessible pricing on essential travel items, which adds up positively when managing budgets. Employees report that interacting with regular customers can be rewarding, which often translates into familiar, friendly exchanges when groups meet. The 3.6-star rating from over 146,000 reviews indicates a generally satisfactory level of service, though some locations may perform better than others. Recognizing these mixed perspectives, groups planning meetups can benefit by choosing Speedway stations with positive local reputations or those recommended by friends, ensuring a smoother experience. In general, the core offering remains practical and functional, meeting essential needs which are particularly important in group and travel contexts. Customers valuing speed, convenience, and variety often find Speedway a dependable choice despite occasional shortcomings in service.
