Never been to a place like this. Overall I'm a "picky" eater but will try new stuff... There is a variety to choose from. If you get the "all you can eat" you start with 3 meats, you cook it yourself, then get 3 more to cook, and keep on if you can, (tend to get full quicker if you eat while cooking 🤷🏽♀️) The taste is unique, good, but unique. They offer a desert drink, it's a Lilac flavor, it's very good.

Other nearby K-BBQ spots may be cheaper, but I was very disappointed with their hygiene. I’m confident that SSAMJANG is run by real Korean food experts. Every dish was cleanly and freshly prepared, and the staff were extremely friendly. They also have a rewards program. Aside from being slightly saltier than what I’m used to in Korea (perhaps to suit American tastes), the flavor is very close to authentic Korean BBQ. A true hidden gem.

We ordered the prime short rib and it was crazy fatty like hard to eat fatty. The marinated short rib had good flavor and was slightly easier to eat, but still pretty fatty. The Korean fried chicken was also definitely just frozen chicken. Overall, was pretty disappointed since the main coursers weren’t that good. I thought the side dishes (banchan) were mainly the best part of the meal. Glad I tried it but definitely will be making the trip elsewhere for Korean bbq.
