We cannot say enough good things about Stanton Park and the team there! My youngest son has been participating in the basketball classes and tournament, and it's been a great experience - caring yet challenging coaches, in a fun environment. Coach Alex is fantastic! My son has a hearing disability and balance is not great (past medical condition), and Coach Alex always makes sure there are adaptive exercises for him when appropriate.

I like the swimming classes for children. The sports classes for young boys are great! The paid classes are far better than the free ones, nonetheless, the free classes are good if you have an only child or only one boy at home who needs an activity everyday. The park is very nice. The playground is relatively new and there is a sprinkler that you turn on manually (you must step on a green sensor on the ground, near the frog!) There are a few benches to sit and eat lunch. There is an outdoor court for basketball. There is parking on both sides of Stanton--the East doors and the West doors.

Coach Alex is great! We have our daughter learning basketball skills from him in a group setting. I second what Robin said - the bathrooms are the nicest I have seen in any Park District. Ms. Carolyn is the BEST. She really loves the people and takes great care of the facility. We also have hosted our daughter's birthday in the park and it was so much fun.

Stanton Park provides a safe and clean environment where children can thrive and receive phenomenal instruction all while having the time of their life! Ms. Carroll pays close attention to the children as they are welcomed with her smile and greeting each time they enter an exit the building. Ms. Carroll is a true consistent member of the Stanton support staff who tries to assist in any way she can. She leaves me feeling confident in my visit especially in the way she successfully manages to keep the premises clean and fresh. As a parent I can appreciate the many classes offered, although I wish we had even more opportunities for extracurricular activities at Stanton.
