I can’t remember if her name is Reva or Reba, but she is the best! I came in looking for a printer and she helped me from the moment I walked in the door. She suggested something that was exactly what I needed, and did not try to push some super-expensive printer that I did not need. It was really refreshing. On top of that my toddler was starting to melt down and not wanting to walk, so she helped me to my car with all of the things I purchased. I know people are buying everything online these days, but I have to say I will definitely be back here for my home-office needs.Thank you so much!

I’ve never left a bad review for a business in my life but this place just left an awful taste in my mouth. Although there was nobody else in the store when I came in, the bearded “gentleman” behind the printing counter was incredibly unwilling to help from the moment I walked in, and seemed annoyed by my presence. I would write more, but I see other reviews that sound like they’re about this same employee, so I suspect management is aware. I walked out without a solution. Office Depot across the street had no problem helping me.

Just had an experience with the most RUDE employee at the printing station. I was trying to print something at the self service area but I guess I had too many pages and it wasn't working. I then went to the counter for help and one of the employees said to send it to him so he can help. He immediately printed all of it before telling me the price. After it was all printed he says "Just so you know it will be $.70/page". I ask how many pages and what the total will be because I hadn't figured it out yet and he never told me before printing. He said it would be $500! I said I cannot pay that and he looks me dead in the eye and dramatically slams all the papers in the trash! Then tells me I would have broken the printer if I attempted to use the self service as if I was supposed to know that beforehand. I felt bad that I didn't realize how many pages I had, but I also was not given any information or heads up from the worker before he printed. I'm not the one working there... I cannot believe how rude this guy was and to act like it was my fault. If you're printing something for a customer shouldn't you quote them before printing?! At the self service center you get a quote before printing. I'm still flabbergasted at this employees reaction and I hope management sees this message as that was unbelievable.

What makes Staples’ new store concepts relevant to today’s meetup culture? Staples has actively redesigned its stores to meet the needs of modern consumers who value multi-use spaces. The Staples Connect and Staples Studio concepts represent this shift towards environments that blend retail with co-working and event facilities. This approach is highly relevant for today’s meetup culture, which often emphasizes social interaction alongside productivity and creativity. People increasingly seek locations where they can gather not only to socialize but also to collaborate on projects or share creative pursuits such as podcasting. Staples’ addition of podcast studios and Spotlight theaters aligns with this cultural trend, encouraging community-driven, tech-savvy engagement. The partnership with media firms for podcast hosting services highlights Staples’ commitment to supporting new media creation, making it a forward-thinking venue for groups with digital interests. This relevance to contemporary lifestyles and flexible work modes makes Staples a distinctive meetup location in today’s fast-changing social environment.

Why does the variety of Staples locations matter for group meetups? With over 860 stores across the United States, Staples provides excellent geographic accessibility for groups looking for a reliable meetup spot. The widespread presence means friends or families can find a convenient location near their home, workplace, or transit routes, reducing travel stress. Staples’ ubiquity, especially in urban and suburban settings, offers flexibility in planning spontaneous or recurring group meetups. Diverse store sizes and formats, from large flagship outlets to smaller urban stores, cater to different group sizes and needs. Whether you are planning a small gathering or a more expansive event requiring the Spotlight theater or multiple workspaces, the variety in physical footprint supports different meetup scales. This network effect also allows groups to explore new locations and experiences within the Staples brand if they travel or move. The widespread reach of Staples thus underpins its practicality and appeal as a meetup venue.

How do Staples’ ratings and customer feedback influence potential meetups? While Staples maintains a solid 3.7 out of 5 rating based on over 100 reviews, suggesting generally positive experiences, it also highlights some variability in customer satisfaction. This rating indicates most visitors find value in what Staples offers, including product selection, store amenities, and customer service. For groups, this means Staples is generally a dependable place for meetups, although expectations should be balanced with the understanding that like any large retail chain, individual store experiences can differ. Feedback often praises Staples for helpful staff and innovative store features like co-working spaces and podcast studios, which enhance group activities. On the other hand, groups might also consider reviews that mention challenges like occasional crowding or service wait times and plan accordingly by visiting during off-peak hours or booking spaces in advance. Overall, the ratings reflect Staples as a viable and well-regarded option for group meetups.

What makes Staples a practical choice for family gatherings? Staples may not be a traditional social venue, but it holds practical appeal for family gatherings centered around shared activities like planning, crafting, or education. Its broad stock of school and office supplies makes it a great destination for families preparing for projects, homework, or arts and crafts, offering opportunities to bond over creative shopping choices. The co-working spaces provide a quiet, structured environment for families to collaborate on tasks or enjoy group learning time together. For parents and children interested in digital content creation, the podcast studios offer a novel venue to experiment with audio media, fostering skills and fun experiences. Staples’ well-lit, clean, and accessible layout makes it comfortable and safe for family meetups. Combining retail, workspace, and creative tech in one place meets diverse family interests, making Staples a practical and sometimes unexpectedly enjoyable meeting spot.

How does Staples support group creativity and productivity? Staples integrates several key features that nurture creativity and productivity for groups. The availability of private and semi-private spaces such as the Spotlight theater and co-working studios lets users set the tone for focused brainstorming or informal creative jams. Equipped with technology such as Wi-Fi, audio recording gear, and multimedia presentation capabilities, these spaces empower groups to execute diverse projects, from design sessions to podcasts or workshops. The broad inventory of office and tech supplies supports whatever creative or organizational needs arise, enabling groups to source materials on the spot. The presence of on-site staff familiar with the technology and services helps groups smoothly use the facilities. By combining a well-stocked retail environment with creative and work-oriented spaces, Staples fosters an ecosystem where collaboration and productivity flourish naturally in a group setting.

Why is Staples a compelling meetup spot despite its office-supply retailer image? Although traditionally viewed purely as an office-supply retailer, Staples has evolved into a multipurpose venue that transcends its retail roots. Its newer store concepts blur the lines between shopping, creative collaboration, and event hosting, offering a unique combination that few other retailers provide. For groups, this means more than a simple shopping trip—it’s an opportunity for productive interaction, creative expression, and social connection under one roof. The integration of co-working studios and podcasting facilities aligns with cultural shifts towards flexible work and digital content creation. This forward-looking approach transforms Staples from a mundane stop into a dynamic meetup locale that caters to both casual socializing and serious projects. Thus, Staples’ image as just an office supply store no longer captures its full value, making it a compelling and versatile choice for groups.

What additional benefits do groups gain by meeting at Staples? Beyond the evident amenities, Staples offers other practical benefits for groups. Its central location within many communities makes it easy to reach by car or public transportation. The option to purchase supplies immediately supports seamless project progression and planning without the need for additional stops. Rental spaces like studios and theaters come equipped with technology that reduces the need for groups to bring their own bulky equipment. On-site technical support further ensures smooth execution of activities like podcast recording or presentations. Moreover, some Staples stores feature promotional events, workshops, or seasonal themes that add value and interest to group visits. Lastly, meeting at a retail location such as Staples can be more budget-friendly than renting formal event venues or cafés, making it a sensible choice for groups mindful of costs. These advantages collectively enhance the convenience and appeal of hosting meetups at Staples.

These elements together position Staples as a diversified venue capable of meeting the needs and interests of various groups—social, creative, or professional—making it a smart place to rally with friends or family.
