My favorite Star Market! The people here are great, both staff and customers. I don't know what is in the water at the Trapelo location, but at this location, I've had zero crazy interactions with random strangers. Everything I want is almost always in stock, and they really listen to their customers about product preferences. Some items are pricier than other places, but not many, and the convenience evens it out anyway. They have a lot of deals too, it's worth it to download the app. I also recommend their pharmacy, they're super nice and it's easy to manage your prescriptions with the app unlike other places.

This review is primarily about the prepared food section which is enormous. It rivals Wegmans in terms of size and variety. Okay, Wegmans does have the edge, but the prices are far better here. From the delicatessen, to the La Carte prepared entries, bakery, Noodle bar, sushi bar, lots of chicken choices, many dozens of ready to eat meals plus many made to order choices in all these spaces. I've never had good supermarket sushi some reluctant to try but even that looks better than most. It's right next to the fresh produce section which I must say looks a heck of a lot better than any other Star Market I've been to. On the spectrum from Whole Foods and Russo's to Lambert's at the low end, I have to say this Market is closest to Whole Foods in terms of presentation and the freshness look of the products. They must do a big business in prepared foods because it's very well staffed. The cheese Shop looks pretty good too, and they sell wine. Okay, I tried the spicy tuna sushi because it was on promo sale for six bucks. I thought you wasn't bad but keep in mind I'm here at 11:00 in the morning. Your experience picking sushi after it's sat all day maybe different.

the bakery made me a beautiful custom vintage heart cake for only $35! the only con is they put the cake in a bulky uncovered cardboard box. other than that, great tasting cake and great decoration! wish i could attach an image!

It's one of the large starmarkets in the neighborhood with plenty of parkings easily accessible through Mt Auburn St. They have quite good pastry items. Their maple pecan pastry is awesome good for price and quality with good amount of sweetness. They frequently put great deals on Haagen-Dazs ice cream. Use the starmarket app to clip the deal and simply scan the QR code at the counter. Discounted price will appear at the end of payment. Today I got five (14 once) for only 16 bucks. My favorite is Pistachio flavor. Another suggestion is the Jalapeno flavored tortilla chip shown in the photo. Highly recommend.

I actually went to the Starbucks inside this Star Market and felt that the barista provided some of the best service I've received at any Starbucks. I'm just so sorry the digital receipt doesn't show her name to thank her by name.
