Before attending StarCycle classes, I only had a gym membership once in my life (and to say the least, it wasn't a good fit). I previously thought that going to the gym wasn't "for me" and always felt uncomfortable in that environment. I was introduced to StarCycle this year, and I have nothing but great things to say about the workouts, the positive environment, and (most importantly) the welcoming and accepting attitude of the staff and other attendees. Having the lights off in the class makes it feel much more private and focused, and the instructors have a contagious energy that will make you feel inspired to try your hardest. I now try to attend as many classes as my schedule allows during the week, and it's certainly a highlight of my day! I feel stronger and healthier now that I have started to become more active, and I owe a lot of that to StarCycle and the amazing people who work there. They also have great promos/deals that make it financially accessible, and the instructors/staff always are considerate and understanding. I want to give a special shout out to Chelsea (owner/instructor) for always helping me out if I ever have a question or concern. They respond quickly and are always happy to help.

Manny, Jesse, and Cheyanne are my absolute favorites. My mornings wouldn’t be the same without them. Their student enrollment is amazing and I’ll keep it forever.

Never thought I would love a gym so much! Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly. The instructors and front desk staff are beyond kind and care about you on a personal level. They get to know your name and celebrate your big moments! Each instructor brings something special and unique to each class. And Danielle (the owner) is such a shining light! She knows everyone's name and story, I don't know how she does it. This studio is the best thing that has happened to me since I moved to Portland 4 years ago. It's given me a confidence I never had prior. After spending most of the pandemic alone without exercise, they made me feel welcome and safe to work out again. I can't imagine N Williams without our small but mighty spin gym!! LOVE YOU STARCYCLE!!

Rides are choreographed to high-energy playlists where every pedal stroke syncs with the beat, transforming your cycling session into an immersive rhythmic experience. Instructors add their personal flair, encouraging push-ups, sprints, jumps, and side-to-side movements, all timed to the music to keep you engaged and challenged. This fresh, non-competitive approach is designed to accommodate all fitness levels, encouraging participants to ride for themselves, free from technology tracking or external pressure. Groups benefit from this style as it promotes a positive, supportive environment where everyone feels empowered to ride at their own pace while sharing the motivating vibe together.

Here, your experience is shaped not by data points but by the beat of the music and the energy in the room. The focus on personal empowerment over competition helps riders of all skill levels feel included and motivated. Each instructor brings their own style, ensuring classes stay fresh and participants keep coming back for that unique blend of fun and challenge. For groups, this means a dynamic workout that feels more like a celebration than a chore, enhancing relationships through shared effort and exhilaration.
