This Middlefield section of Stevens Creek behind the Whisman School park and soccer field has been neglected for years. The flood wall near the bicycle bridge has been crumbling for years and now with the rain and high water (January 2023) this flood wall collapsed and threatening the bicycle trail and bridge head. One star for the city of Mountain View for not taking care to fix the Creek.

I use this trail all the time for my long runs. It goes all the way and eventually connects with the bay trail along mountain view, and then heads into Palo Alto by the 101. So, you can pretty much go as far as you want to. There are a few water fountains but hardly any restrooms until you get out to near by the shoreline golf course along the bay trail, so be prepared!
