I called Stevens Marine, asked to get estimate on buying a new 40hp outboard. Talked to a salesman, Nelson, gladly got my information on the boat. Had the whole total including instalation in two different ways I could get it done! All this on a very short time on the phone. That's kind of salesman I want to do business with. He's a keeper! Defective workmanship and Liars! Don't waste your money buying anything from them!!! Purchased a new Rogue boat trailer from them for $8,000. All of a sudden, we have a flat tire, take the tire off to take it down to get repaired. Once it's off, we see the ENTIRE side of it is worn down bald because Steven Marine manufacturing default on the axel and it is bent and not built correctly. But guess what, we're a a few months passed our warranty. Warranty on manufacturer defects??? That they custom built! They own Rogue Trailers and trying to blame them. We bought it through Stevens Marine, we gave Stevens Marine the $8,000 for the defective, brand new boat trailer. We did not conduct business with Rogue Trailers. GM, Chris, who was the salesman said he'll take care us, then had a service tech call and say, there's nothing they can do because they don't warranty their crappy workmanship when it's their manufacturing....Now we have to pay someone else to repair the trailer aside from the $140 tire. Although, we probably wouldn't want them to 'repair it' anyway. They couldn't build it correctly in the first place. Only giving one star because it won't allow me to give 0 stars or negative stars.
