Stomping Ground is such a welcoming and creative community for anyone interested in comedy. There’s a great lineup of shows (improv, musical improv, standup, variety shows) with a cool theatre space, and they’re BYOB. They do a lot in the community (like improv for anxiety and improv for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s or dementia) and host community events like improv jams and drop-in classes. Highly recommend!

Stomping Ground Comedy Theater is an opportunity for people to learn, perform, and watch improv. I came to support a friend who just started 8 weeks ago, but there are multiple levels of experience for different shows. I enjoyed the show I saw and laughed a lot. And its BYOB, which is nice too, but they also sell snacks and drinks like water too.

This is a beautiful facility with a wide range of programming in a very unlikely place. you owe it to yourself to take a trip just passed the design district to check out this remarkable theater.when you do go, be sure to tell the parking attendants that you are attending the theater and they will send you right to the lot. I went to see Magic Mike in his family performance scheduled the first Saturday of every month. The show was entertaining, lively, and engaging for everybody in the audience no matter what the age. Being there let me see all the other remarkable improvisational comedy performances, classes, and other events that Stomping Ground has to offer. They also offer classes and events tailored for the neurodiverse. It's pretty cool. Check them out.
