It took forever to get food on a Thursday night with about 4 other tables and 1 guy at the bar. The food was really good and the service was excellent. While waiting our drinks were steadily refilled and the staff made sure we were happy with our meal once it arrived. The restaurant has a really nice vibe and tons of outdoor seating for these gorgeous Summer evenings.

It was a lovely, first 'really beautiful' day in Portland, and we were just about to catch the bus back to Kenton. But the vibes were right and the Doobie Brothers were a'callin', so we slipped into one of the outdoor booths at Stormbreaker for a bit of sipping, noshing, and people watching. McKenzie was the best host, and helped me navigate the (widely reviled, BTW) QR Code menu, and we talked about their recent wins in the beer world. The food is ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS fresh, plentiful, and cooked to perfection. This includes even the delivered food I order on occasion. This time I had an 'Italians Do It Better' sandwich and a side salad. Let me be clear, 'side salad' usually means a handful of dingy iceberg and shredded carrots - but not at Stormbreaker. Their side salads are sizable, crisp, and come with fresh toppings. Maybe it was the weather, maybe it was the Led Zeppelin, CCR, or David Bowie, but a leisurely repast at Stormbreaker on a Friday afternoon was the perfect way to start the weekend!

Great brunch. Great service. Outdoor patio that's pet friendly, spacious indoor seating area. Cool bar area. Friendly, helpful guy at the bar. Wish I asked for his name. We ordered pork belly breakfast skillet with scrambled eggs on top. You can choose how you want your eggs. It's pretty good. Not complaining when I told the person at the bar I wished I can have a choice of rice or potatoes to go with the pork belly. Serving portion was good enough for me, just wish the pork belly were a bit bigger. My friends had Huevo Ranchero and Eggs Benedict. Must be good as they finished it all. :-). I can easily recommend this place to friends and come back again.

StormBreaker has been making some wonderful changes to their menu, stopped by for brunch and Loved it! I think they’re still short staffed every now and again, so speed of service can be hit or miss - but definitely worth the wait if you have the time. As you can see - the veggie skillet and Mediterranean Salad were delicious, as were the mimosas and beer.

If you're going here for the delicious looking nachos you see in the other reviews, don't go. Unfortunately they no longer exist. We have been coming here since they opened, and through covid with take-out orders to help keep $$ coming through the doors. And it is pretty sad the route this restaurant is taking. Their food has gone way downhill the past 6 or so months. Their nachos are completely different, from the meat to the cheese, white sauce, chips, pico... everything. I'm pretty sure their nacho cheese is now from a can. Their wings use to be smoked and come with 4 FULL wings, now just 3 flats and 3 drumsticks that taste like they were just tossed in sauce at the end. (But more expensive.) And no more delicious pickles. My kid wouldn't eat the mac-and-cheese and she will eat anything, it was flavorless and had the consistency of thick glue. We have come here 3x within the last few months hoping it was an off day, but no. I think they are spending more energy on their beer & drinks. And unfortunately, have forgotten about the food. I HOPE they can make some changes and bounce back. The beer is pretty good, we do like the beer. But as a family, we have to go where the kids will enjoy their meals too, and this place no longer does it for us.
