Wonderful place! We got to enjoy a revamp of the menu, and it was delicious. Everything we ordered was truly amazing. The new cocktail list was just as great and invigorating. We tried a couple of them, and I finished the evening with an Espresso Martini. The cream and cinnamon on top were a little surprise I was not expecting. Great drinks, but the vibes turned fast. so not worth it. I asked for the tab early (we had a dinner res), tipped 28% and closed out. They offered “on the house” shots after. Cool, right? Nope. The GM whispered to our server, then came over saying I still owed… $1.03? Weird, but I paid it and tipped again. Then he tells me, “You don’t tip. You keep hitting no tip.” Huh?? I had tipped twice already. (i have the bank statements to prove it). When I asked for clarity, he got vague and passive-aggressive—saying I needed to pay back the discount no one asked for, in tips. In the end, I tipped around $72 for one round of drinks and one round of shots. It felt rude, aggressive, and honestly like I was being taken advantage of.
