My father was supposed to take a concealed carry class with Tony at Strategic Tactics of Protection (STOP) LLC in 2023. Tony was Venmoed $150. My father fell ill the day of the class and I asked if we could reschedule. Tony was agreeable to this and said that the class could be rescheduled. My father after recovering from his illness did not feel that he was in the right headspace to obtain a concealed carry permit at that point in time. As we all know, that is extremely important and was very responsible of him to acknowledge. My father planned to reach back out to Tony to take the class once he felt ready. Unfortunately, before that could happen my father suffered a stroke which has caused him to no longer have the physical ability to safely operate a firearm. I reached out to Tony on March 12, 2025 to let Tony know that my father would no longer be able to complete the class and to ask for a refund. On March 19, 2025 Tony responded by saying that typically he could work with a refund request like this when he receives notification in a timely manner but that because the refund request was over a year old, he couldn’t honor the refund request. I then asked if it would be possible for someone else to attend in my father’s place. Tony said that this was not an option either. I even offered to take a waitlist approach so as not to take up a spot in a class that is otherwise full. I offered the alternative of someone attending in my father’s place in a class that was not full if one came up. Tony simply ignored my email. I gave him an entire month to respond and it is clear at this point that he has no plans to respond. As a result, I am now forced to resort to leaving this review. Tony has kept the $150 that he was paid for services that he did not provide, he appears to see nothing wrong with it and is hiding behind a “no refund/all sales final” policy that he only enforces when it is convenient for him. If keeping $150 of a disabled veteran’s hard earned money is worth it to him and his conscience still allows him to sleep at night, then that is on him. But what will help me sleep at night is knowing that I have warned anyone who is considering taking a concealed carry class that they would be best served to look elsewhere. Editing in response to Tony’s reply: your reply has added no new information that is of any benefit. Everything stated in my review above still stands and if no money will be returned, there is no need for further communication with me. Have the day you most certainly deserve.

We went to the Range. I heard him teaching my wife to hold the weapon correct. And fire. Tony's class is on point. I highly recommend his class

Tony was an awesome instructor and teacher. He made the class fun and interesting.When learning the do’s and dont’s of carrying and carrying concealed. The important statues and rules.even down the range training,he did one on one and talked you through to be comfortable shooting. Any other training classes I’d absolutely recommend Tony for sure.
