During our trip to Chicago, we brought our family of 4 (boys aged 12 & 17) and the very artistic 12 year old made all the rest of us step up our games! We had an EXCELLENT time! Our instructor Justin gave us great tips and insight, and even created a train stencil for my husband on the spot. The other couple's were fun to mingle with. Everyone had an excellent time, and now we're making plans to make a spray paint studio in our garage. Thank you!

Went here solo on a whim and had a blast! I used to graffiti back in the day, and this was just as much fun! The instructor was really nice as well, gave us tips and tricks, and overall had a very fun personality. I would definitely go back with some friends.

5 Stars – An Unforgettable Experience! Taking my middle schoolers from Cleveland to Studio W.I.P. in Chicago was hands down the best part of our trip! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric, creative, welcoming, and so much fun. Justin was absolutely incredible with the kids. His energy, patience, and clear passion for art made the experience both inspiring and memorable. He had some great music playing but (maybe my own bias) i think when Fall Out Boy started playing that it brought such a great vibe and really helped the students open up creatively. Every student got to take home their own canvas filled with unique spray paint and stencil art that they made themselves. It was the perfect balance of structure and freedom for young artists. I can’t recommend Studio W.I.P. enough! Whether it be for school groups, families, or anyone looking for a seriously cool, hands-on art experience. Absolutely go check it out!

Absolutely amazing experience here. Not only was it a fun activity and family friendly, but the staff really helped to make sure our son (manual wheelchair user) had what he needed to participate. Highly highly recommend this fun experience for families or date night or anyone really!!

I arrived in a party of 3 around 5:50pm for a 6pm reservation on a Friday evening. This was part of the all inclusive Go City Pass. We were visiting from NC. If using the Go City pass, you must reserve online and present the pass upon arrival. Check in was smooth. There was a coat rack for us to hang up our coats. Justin was the owner and class instructor. He was very friendly and patience. He discussed his background and went over different techniques that we practiced. There was ample stencils to use to make our own creation on a canvas that we were able to take with us. My only complaint is that there weren’t enough bottles available for popular colors such as black and white. This led to people waiting what seems like forever. I would say there was about 15 or so of us present. Towards the end, he brought out more bottles but they were almost gone and ran out quickly. Another thing I didn’t like was the lack of organization of stencils. I wish they were separated by categories so we could easily see what’s available and what we wanted Nonetheless, this was an enjoyable experience and I would do it again.
