My first time checking this place out. We ordered karaage and Hokkaido Bay scallops yakitori for appetizers. For entrees we got a katsu dinner bento, and an ocean roll and a sushi bullet. The appetizers were pretty good. The portion of the karaage was big. The chicken was tender, and the breading was light and crispy. The Hokkaido Bay scallops were nice and cooked nicely. It was a bit strange that they were served with Chinese chili oil, but it was actually not a bad combo. The entree was pretty good, too. The port katsu dinner bento came with a salad and a bowl of miso soup. The salad was a bit too simple. It only had some lettuce, and a few pieces of shredded carrots. The sauce was nice, but I felt like there was too much mayonnaise in it. The miso soup was very nice. It warmed my stomach instantly, and it felt great in a cold and rainy weather like today. The bento had rice/brown rice, edamame, 4 pieces of shumai, 6 pieces of sushi rolls, and 2 layers of fried pork chops. The portion was very generous. I almost couldn’t finished it. The shumai was standard. The sushi rolls were nice. The brown rice was cooked perfectly. The pork chop was very nice, with light batter and the texture of the pork was on the firm side. It was very nice. The sushi bullet was SO GOOD! The sushi roll was deep fried and then sliced to 6 pieces. On top of each piece, there was different kind of fish. It was very delicious! The ocean roll looked nice, too. However, because I’m allergic to mangoes, so I didn’t try. Overall, it was a nice meal. It was better than my expectations. It’s one of the nicer, but affordable Japanese restaurants in the neighborhood. We will definitely come back again and try their other items on the menu!

While inside looked cosy, I chose to sit outside in the filtered winter sun. Menu is extensive even though i really only wanted sashimi. The food was exceptional, very generous portions and beautifully presented. Service was very sincere and warm. The wine list by the glass is very limited but the sake range looked great. I eas craving sashimi and they certainly didn't disappoint!!

I loved that spot . I’m a fan of Japanese food and culture and general, customer service is normally on point in that kind of places. Well Ichiro sushi is not an exception, staff members were really polite , food is delicious and very fulfilling. Highly recommend to try Japanese wine in that place , it’s only about 6$ a glass and have very unique sweet taste. Waitress gave us a watermelon for dessert at no charge which was really nice of her . As if prices - it’s extremely reasonable considering the location. Highly recommend, 5 stars
