We ended up doing the ride on one of the hottest days of the year, but we had fun. The ride itself was approximately 45 min uphill through a winding trail. You can see the expansive Hollywood city view and the Hollywood Sign on the ride. The horses were tame and well trained and the guides were friendly. It was so hot today that they even gave away bottles of water for free. I recommend bringing a lanyard so you can tie your phone around your neck and bringing a mask since it gets quite dusty. Also, I would definitely recommend booking your ride earlier in the day or after 4 PM to avoid the mid-day heat.

Can not rave enough about this place. The guides, the horses, the views during the ride - all amazing! Brought my best friend with me from South Carolina, and it was her first time on a horse, and she and I both had the best time! Lots of beginners on our tour with us, including young kids. If you're thinking about doing the tour- do it! It's a little surprising to read some of the previous poor reviews because we did not have a negative experience at all.

The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and supportive — they took such great care of her that now she's the one saying, “Let’s go again!” I truly appreciate how attentive and gentle everyone was. We had the best time on our one hour trail ride! Our family of four (2 adults and a teen and a tween) were each paired with great horses (Tank, Tater Tot, Jig Saw, and my favorite Juliet). The views were incredible and it was fun and unique way to experience the Hollywood sign and the views. Our guides with Becca and Bonito and they were both awesome. All of the staff did a great job helping my kids feel confident in the saddle.
