Ive traveled the US, which has allowed me to play different styles and formats of bar trivia. Sunset Trivia’s rate of play sucks (about 4 minutes per question). I was able to write this review in between two questions. I’m usually leaving the bar early out of boredom, which can’t be good for their business. Plus, getting to answer on your phone is optimal for cheating (I’m typing away on my phone in between questions, no one is challenging me). I’ve played more entertaining and honorable trivia game formats using Microsoft PowerPoint as a format.

I really enjoy sunset trivia. They have tons of locations across the city of San Diego and the web app is pretty user friendly. The only reason for 4 stars is I think their hosts could have more personality rather than just reading questions and answers. But overall love trivia night!
